Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain for The US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in 2016. The Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics in London she won gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze medal for the balance beam. This made her one of the very first American gymnast at the Olympics to win the most medals. The 2016 Olympics saw her win the gold medal in the team event. This earned both she and Gabby the honor of being the only Americans ever to have consecutive gold medals for a team. The silver medals she won came from the individual floor and all-around event. The three years that passed between the Olympic Games she won her break was taken. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams in two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her most loved event is Floor Exercise. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She hopes to build a career out of fashion. She would also like to expand her line of leotards and socks. The book she is working on is titled Fierce that will be released later this year.
